Thursdays & Fridays
Kirkcaldy Probus has two walking groups, one meeting on a Thursday morning, the other on Friday. This gives our members the choice of coming along to whichever day suits them best! In both cases the next walk venue may be announced at the nearest Probus meeting.
The Thursday Walking Group meets at 10am at Kirkcaldy Crematorium Outer Car Park on the second and fourth week of each month (those weeks without a Probus Club meeting). Our walks are in the morning and typically do not exceed 4 miles in length. We avoid steep hill climbs. Car sharing allows us to travel to walk venues within the local area.

The Friday Walking Group frequently walks within Fife, sometimes very locally but also in the Lothians, Angus and, our favourite, Perthshire. We reach a starting point by car, bus or train and walks can be 2 or 3 miles or very occasionally up to 8 or 9. Destinations are usually arranged by emailing after weather forecasts are studied and decided on the Thursday evening or even Friday morning.
